Solved - Deezer dropping last seconds of tracks

I stream both Tidal and Deezer to my Transporter.

I got Tidal first and way back I had dropout issues with Tidal which was resolved by setting proxied streaming.

As a last resort to resolve the losing of the last few seconds of each track in Deezer, I reset LMS to direct streaming and it solved the issue.

I will try Tidal a bit later and see of it now works ok with direct streaming.

Posting as it may help others.

Thanks for sharing!

We have recommended proxied streaming and set it by default for high resolution services like Tidal as the stream quality coming from Tidal wasn't optimal initially, they have however improved it since then and direct streaming should work fine in most cases.

Good to know this. What's the exact difference between direct and proxy streaming btw? I'm just curious.

Direct, the stream, once started is going from source to the player. Proxy, the stream is going from source to your LMS server, then from LMS server to player. If one has two or more players synched, then proxy streaming is automatically used.
