Ickstream works on one computer but not another

Hello all,

I usually run LMS (8.0) on a 2008 Macbook running OSX 10.5. When I attempted to install ickstream on this machine, instead of getting login information in the Advanced Settings, I got a screen reading:

Sort albums for artist: by title
Background daemon port: 9006
Proxied streaming: Enabled
Unsupported players: Squeezebox Touch.

Our of curiosity, I tried installing it in LMS 8.0 on my newer Macbook, which runs OSX 10.9.5. On this machine, ickstream and Tidal run flawlessly, and I have no trouble streaming to my Squeezebox.

Does anyone know what I could do to get it working properly on my old Macbook?

I don't have an osx 10.5 right off hand to test, maybe you could provide some logs to help debug.

To do so you should set all ickstream login to "debug" in the settings, Advanced, logging tab. Remove the ickstream.prefs and ickstream directory in the prefs folder, then start LMS.
Then go to the settings, advanced, ickstream tab and see if the players are registered. If they arent click on the re-register all players button and then share the server logs (from settings, advanced, information).
You can share it as a file on here or to info@ickstream.com, if the log file is large.
