We pushed out some corrections to the cloud service to open beta during the maintenance stop we had today.

* One correction related to WiMP and TIDAL album names showing up as strange numbers on Squeezebox. Please note that due to caching it can take up to 24 hours until you see the effect of this change. If you want to see it earlier you can shutdown LMS and manually delete the IckStreamItemCache.db cache file and startup LMS again.
* Increased available server resources a bit to ensure we can handle a bit more users.

* Corrected configuration for Deezer so streaming works. To make the changes take effect you will need to goto https://cloud.ickstream.com and remove Deezer from your account and then add it back again.

* Switched country detector provider which hopefully should help with issues where license confirmation and device registration is slow.
* Fixed some bugs related to account management which caused registration problems and made it hard for us to detect when validation emails wasn't sent properly.

• Corrected bug in WiMP and TIDAL content services where search requests returned too many items which resulted in that item 51 and above wasn't possible to navigate. Search results is limited to 50 matches at the moment.
• Corrected bug in WiMP and TIDAL content services where some requests only returned the first 10 items, which resulted in that sometimes item 11 and forward was empty and wasn't possible to navigate and sometimes they weren't shown at all.

• Added support for latest API changes
• Changed device model identifiers to match new syntax
• Corrected TIDAL content service so registering with TIDAL doesn't result in blank user name if first/lastname doesn't exist in TIDAL account.
• Added support for retrieving API keys based on model and modelName combinations from LMS plugin. This change means that you need to make sure to use the latest LMS plugin version, if you are using an old version the device registration is going to fail.
• Added support keeping track of active devices and most used services to help us prioritise work based on what's mostly used

Most of the above changes won't be visible to end users right now but we still wanted to release them to make them available to developers integrating with ickStream.

• Corrected issue with Qobuz content service where favourite artists, albums, tracks, playlists only returned first 50 items when accessed via LMS.
• Increased number of items in search result for Qobuz, WiMP, TIDAL and SoundCloud to 100 items. Deezer is still 50 because their API doesn't support more at the moment.
• Corrected issue with rad.io content service that hopefully might solve the playback issue on Squeezebox devices.
• Preparation to make it possible to add/remove services in a web view in a controller application. This change is not visible to end users at this stage.

• Corrected issue in TIDAL and WiMP where their Artists menu didn't return complete list of artists. It only showed the first ones and then showed a lot of blank rows.
• Preparation to make it possible to add/remove favorites directly from the Squeezebox My Apps/ickStream menus. This change is not visible to open beta users yet.

We pushed out some corrections to the cloud service to open beta during last minutes

• Added support for 320 kbps streams in Deezer content service.
• Added some extra div statements in html pages to simplify customization through stylesheets provided by partners.
• Updated TIDAL content service so it selects streaming source based on geographical location (IP-address of streaming device). Hopefully this will solve most of the dropouts people in US have seen on TIDAL. For within Europe this change will probably not make any difference.

We haven't fully tested the TIDAL change yet so it might not work properly yet, but we would like people in US to let us know if the drop-outs has become less common with this change already now. Please use the following thread to give us feedback regarding TIDAL drop-outs:

• Corrected problem with rad.io/radio.net service and renamed it to radio.net

The TIDAL drop-outs correction introduced during the weekend is not working yet, we are waiting for TIDAL to do some additional adjustments before it will start to stream from the correct source based on your geographical location. We will let you know as soon as we have verified that it works.
