Tracks don't play

I am running LMS 7.7.3 on Synology 415Play. Player is Squeezelite running on MacOSX.

When I play a track it starts to try to play then gives up and moves to the next track etc. This is what I see in the log...

This sounds like you have native FLAC streaming disabled in LMS. Please check "Settings->Advanced->File Formats->FLAC" in the server's web interface. "native" should be set to "enabled" or your player can't play FLAC in which case you'd have to transcode it to MP3 on the Synology which probably doesn't work on a NAS (and would consume a lot of CPU power on the NAS).

I use flac for all my music. I did check the setting and it is set to native.

This means LMS thinks it needs to decode and re-encode the FLAC, either because the player can't play it or because it's disabled.
Usually this means the server wants to transcode to mp3 and doesn't know how.

Could you show me a screen shot of all the four "flac" settings in "Settings->Advanced->File Types"?
Also, what is "Settings->Player->Audio->Bitrate limiting" set to?

I did some more testing and it is working fine on my Squeezebox Radio, Touch & ARM-based Squeezelite. So it is just Mac OS X Squeezelite that has the problem, it's running the same version as the ARM one. The bit-rate limiting is set to none for all players.

Hm, that's interesting. Does it work fine with your FLAC files?
If you play a FLAC file from your NAS (not through ickStream), could you open the context menu for a track (press the "M" in the current playlist in the web interface) and check for the bitrate and file format shown?

Somehow LMS seems to think you can't play FLAC on the Mac. I wonder whether SqueezeLite doesn't support it there, which version of SqueezeLite is this? It might be missing some library or such.

I built and installed libFLAC and all is working now. I guess when I played flac files from my server they were getting transcoded.

Have duet working, but cannot get SB classic to work. The tracks play for a second and then just loops. Checked file decoding, flac is set to native, running LMS 7.9 on OS X Yosemite. Here was way the server log says. I have registered the player. Any suggestions?
